He's spending most of his time asleep, which is probably a good thing. When he does wake, he seems content. There are no smiles yet, surprise, surprise. But he does turn his music on and play with his toys. He just looks at you with these big blue eyes that seem to say, I'm not sure what's going on here. But they're still so trusting at the same time. Please pray he feels better soon. It breaks my heart to see him looking so bruised and swollen.
In medical literature, babies with Trisomy 18 are "incompatible with life." Our precious son, Aaron, defied the odds, not only living, but thriving and loving his life. He passed away 13 years, 6 months and ten days after his birth. This is an effort to share his joy in his journey. Like the little purple pansy, he was tiny, but strong and still brightens his corner of the world.

I'm praying! Poor little guy. But he's tough - he'll make it and be better for it. I'm impressed that he can play with toys and turn his music on!
