DreamNight at the Zoo

On Friday, June 1st, DreamNight at the Zoo was held at Hogle Zoo.  This is an international event where the zoo is open after hours for families with chronically ill and disabled children.  Talk about a fun event!  I think everyone had a great time!
Everyone in front of the giant (noisy) elephant.

Aaron and all his equipment, minus his backpack
with his supplies in it, weighs a whopping 105 pounds!
No wonder it feels like a workout pushing him around.

Okay, so I can't remember what all the kids together
weighed, and you can't see the number in the picture,
but it was A LOT!

Most of the kids by the polar bear exhibit.  It just opened
up on Friday, but the bear was really wanting to know
why she had to make her premier on the hottest day
of the year (so far).  This one's for Grandpa Bear.  Grrr.

Michael with the bear.

Ran into Cosmo the Cougar.  He was impressed that
Deborah had attended BYU, Mary is still there, and
David heads down there this fall.  But he wasn't as
excited about Joseph's shirt.  He emphatically
covered up that big UTAH on the front of it.
Fun times.

Face painting was a lot of fun.
Even Aaron got into it.
We had 6 tigers and one butterfly.
So pretty!

  1. You have such a beautiful family! Looks like it was a blast. Maybe we'll met up at the zoo next year!
